Is China Facilitating North Korea In Retaliation of Trump's Early Actions...

...publicly acknowledging Taiwan's call as that of a head of state, as well as his longstanding anti-China rhetoric, and his completion of large military sale to Taiwan?

Put another way, for a person who is now seeking China's cooperation with North Korea, Trump has gone out of his way to strain relations with China save for applying for personal trade marks in China.

Finally, perhaps the biggest issue is that Trump is unreliable. Why stick your neck out cooperating with Trump when he responds by gushing about a chocolate cake, then having him ramp up the antagonistic rhetoric and tweets a few days later?

It is in their best interest to have Japan, South Korea, and the US off balance in the region. Also they don't want a unified Korean peninsula.

Instead, Trump decides to try to act tough on Taiwan and currency manipulation, backs down, then is all over the map on whether he wants to start a trade war with China or seek their cooperation. Finally, by walking away from TPP, China is now the main power in the Pacific, since Trump can't make up his mind as to whether he wants to be isolationist or try to be the global supercop with North Korea.

This is sort of like Trump attacking Obama for getting involved in Syria and threatening to attack, then doing the same thing that he said President Obama should never do.
