Caitlyn Jenner Weighs Run for Senate

"Olympic gold medalist and transgender activist Caitlyn Jenner is the latest celebrity to reveal she has considered lanching a run for Senate, telling radio host John Catsimatidis she is in the process of determining her future in activism and politics.

“I have considered it. I like the political side of it,” Jenner, who is a Republican, told Catsimatidis on AM 970 in New York.

“The political side of it has always been very intriguing to me. Over the next six months or so, I gotta find out where I can do a better job. Can I do a better job from the outside? Kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talking to anybody? Or are you better from the inside, and we are in the process of determining that,” she said.
“Yeah but I would look for a senatorial run,” she continued."

Great, just what our governments need: more unqualified morons in office. Remind me, please. What has Ms. Jenner done in her life that indicates she'd make a good legislator?

Wtf does that mean?

Not interested in actually serving your constituents?

The Orange Stain has so lowered the bar for politicians. God help us.

I mean, what does she know about politics? What are her studied views on the issues and how has she expressed them?

I've not been impressed with her intellectual capabilities on the few unfortunate occasions I've heard her speaking.

What makes any of these idiots think that they understand government? Our celebrity culture has made ignorance a virtue.

And now we've learned that Republicans think that higher education is bad for our country. How is the US going to compete when half of our population doesn't understand anything?
