I honestly do not want to be an alarmist, but if this site gets hacked again as it did during the election.....
I will be getting OFF the internet and INTO the streets. It will mean that sh*t is getting even more Cray than the Ferret could have imagined.
This is some real serious sh*t going on right now.

It was the week or two before the general election. Switch to text only was done due to bandwidth at the time. If memory serves, only gold star members could post.
I would suggest Admins consider temporarily switching DU over to text only in the week or two before the midterms. Would minimize potential damage by use of malicious JS or other code.

Sounds like an excuse - the Admins here are better than that... We lost this site for a week after election night - I think they are 'on it'.
