I think it would be wise NOT to brag about this victory. We barely dodged the bullet

tonight, and rubbing the republican's nose in their defeat, would not help the situation.

We have to fight with all we have, but do it smart.

Go to the people

isn't going away. As far as 2018 is concerned, absolutely we should be exploiting this for all there is, but making fun of them, or bragging about what happened may only serve to unite them the next time, and there will be a next time, as long as they have a majority in the Senate.

some of the speculation encourages inaction or a "keep it in the bank" attitude toward political capital.
Polital capital only has an effect when it's spent. Kick 'em when they're down, if "they" are elected or appointed Republicans. (Or talentless media parasites like Lord, Hannity, Coulter, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Miller, Lewandowski, Conway, Spicer, et al.)

form is naive I think. I also am not saying we shouldn't celebrate or continue to fight, but if we start tweeting name calling to McConnell, and making fun how he couldn't punch his way through a wet paper bag, those taunts could be a motivating factor to the republican to unite the next time, and as long as the republicans have the majority, there will be a next time.
