...White House... is an effective, organized, unchaotic Trump White House." Said by Rosa Brooks, Georgetown law prof, on AM Joy this morning, during a discussion on the new WH chief of staff and whether or not he will make things run more smoothly at the WH.
A very good point.

(5,810 posts)tRump is incapable of organization. He will not be reined in or controlled. At 71 he is not about to change his habits. So the idea that a change of staff will bring about major changes in the way this White House functions is hopelessly naive. tRump thrives on chaos and believes it keeps him one step ahead of everyone. He truly thinks he is smart enough and savvy enough to be the mastermind that controls his domain. In truth, the delusion of his supremacy guides his every step. So, no, don't expect any change in this never ending train wreck.

" We will see how well that goes over with those who have had unfettered access to the Donald. Gen. Kelly is not going to last long in the job if there are no rules and no one follows them.

(5,528 posts)Suppose Trump goes and everyone is relieved to get the "sane" Pence.
Everybody will go back to their lives while the GOP can get down to enacting their hateful agenda.
So we have the choice of a chaotic madman or an organized true believer.
Of course that assumes that Pence doesn't go down too. But I fear that is wishful thinking.
