with Dems. Murkowski is already an Independent after the GOP tried to primary her out. If Collins would go I and then the two of them caucus with Dems, they could really make a difference, especially if McCain is not available for key votes--or if he would decide to really go maverick, switch to I as well and caucus with Dems.
