8. Iran Contra was probably when I really started paying attention to politics.

I was a kid locked up for failure to pay a ticket so I had a bunch of free time and it was on TV. I found it fascinating and even more so when so many walked. I was addicted to politics after that. It was way better than any soap opera or murder mystery and has an actual impact on our lives.
