The party base in my district may not be the same as it is in your district

A prochoice and/or pro gun control candidate running to be the party's nominee for House Representative wont get much support from the local party base in the district where I live. This also applies for candidates for state house and senate.

And, quite possibly if they're being honest, many think the world's been sliding downhill since blacks and women were 'allowed' to vote.

I see some potential campaign issues to run on right there! No reason for women to be the only patriots stepping up to take one for the team!
