They don't even need a Brainwashing 101 manual...they think it worked the first time.
"Investigation's a HOAX"
"Investigation's a HOAX"
"Investigation's a HOAX"
How do we combat this ???????
All we need, when this is over, and Dimwit is out, is to have 33% of the population thinking this has all been a hoax.

(10,048 posts)Bush admitted he did not.
Those 33% are lost causes.

(6,401 posts)...if you include people who believe Saddam transferred his WMD's to Syria right before the war, despite;
1. It was conjecture and no evidence was shown.
2. Saddam knew he was going to lose, makes no sense to give up weapons you could use with devastating results in an insurgency.

Build a brand for people who want designer wanna be clothes I was in a store yesterday and witnessed my favorite sales person oo-ing and ah-ing with another customer over a rack of clothes that just came in that were Ivanka's. Of course, I made a comment, and now she is not my favorite salesperson and she just huffed "Guess we just can't talk about politics in this country anymore ! " Yes, I am stuck in the heart of red country in TX.

(42,770 posts)mysteriously all vote Dingbat? Statistically, so improbable. Maybe one, maybe two, but not all three. No wonder Trump keeps saying she "stole" the 3 million popular votes ! He ALWAYS has a tell. He ALWAYS accuses his opponent of what HE did himself.

(6,377 posts)Most polls showed her up by 1 or 2 points in swing states, but well within the margin of error. Heck, even Ohio had Trump up by a few points in the final polls, same with Florida.

(42,770 posts)Last poll from 270 was:
PA 48-44 Hillary
WI 47-40 Hillary
MI 48-42 Hillary

With MOE, probably different, of course. But STILL - so odd they all fell.

(59,504 posts)Taken in the last week. They showed a shift to Trump and note HRC was not at 50 percent. In the exit polls, two things explained the results. Late deciders and those who disliked both, split heavily for Trump.

(42,770 posts)really is that it is just too mathematically improbable that all three fell

(314 posts)The only people still buying what Trump's selling have their hands so far down in the sand that they cannot be reasoned with. Obviously, any rational person who hears Trump's constant shouts of "Hillary's a crook" know that the guy's just trying to change the subject and distract from his own shenanigans, but these people are not rational.

(42,770 posts)just chose to ignore it. But I do think it worked. Hell, I even have the slight impression in the back of my mind. More of an "I don't really know for sure" type feeling. So the people in the middle had to be influenced by the constant meme.
It's from the Rove playbook -- pick your weakness and be the first to project it on your opponent. It's rather brilliant really.
I really had hoped with a new DNC chair that we would be more unified in our messaging. NOT betray our values - just join the 21st century world of media and use it more to our advantage. But, thanks to Trump's daily or hourly antics - most of the country has seen at least one crazy thing he has said or done. Keep it up, Trump !!

(12,875 posts)She was a politically ambitious First Lady who tried to fix our health insurance system instead of fixing the White House drapes for dinner parties. She was married to a very successful Democratic president when the Republicans considered the White House theirs by right, and she refused to dissolve her marriage when the endless Whitewater fishing expedition elicited testimony about a blow job. Then she went on to be elected Senator, serve as Secretary of State, and make a bid to be the first Female Liberal Commander In Chief -- which would be tantamount to murder because so many rightwing heads would literally explode.
