Pentagon to Bannon's Blackwater Buddy Erik Prince: GTFO

Erik Prince made a windfall convincing the State Department, military and CIA to hire his mercenary firm, Blackwater. But this time, his plan to win Afghanistan through a new infusion of guns-for-hire has few customers.

At the Pentagon, according to a knowledgeable former senior official, opposition to Prince’s proposal—details of which were first reported by USA Today—for a “viceroy” to run Afghanistan through a paid army runs high.

“The Pentagon is not interested in privatizing the war in Afghanistan,” the former official told The Daily Beast.

Several current and former Trump administration officials said that despite Prince’s recent reemergence on cable news—the venue of choice when attempting to persuade President Donald Trump—Prince has no significant internal support. That is, with one big exception: Steve Bannon, Trump’s chief strategist and an avowed bureaucratic enemy of the national security adviser, Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster.

But few others. he really screwed up with the Iraq incidents, so badly he had to change the name of his company and then even sell it, trying to outrun the loss of his reputation.

And now he returns, by hisself, trying to do the only thing he knows how to do: sell people to the Gov't for shooting purposes.
happy to see the Pentagon is not buying.

Hard to decide which sibling is more dangerous. And they basically have unlimited family and individual wealth.

Prince wants to control the opium traffic. That's what really interests him so much about Afghanistan.

He has absolutely no business in our government!

He has no business breathing the same precious air as us as far as I am concerned!

What motivates human beings to be such colossal assholes?

The devil? Scientologists? Gin? WTF????

At least, a particular branch of Catholicism as interpreted by crusading defenders of "Western Culture."

Stephen K. Bannon, President Donald Trump’s chief strategist, grew up in a working-class suburb of Richmond, Va. He attended Benedictine College Preparatory, a Catholic military school, where he and his peers viewed rivals from wealthier prep schools with disdain. “We were the blue-collar guys,” recalls a school friend of Mr. Bannon in Joshua Green’s “Devil’s Bargain.” “They were the rich snobs. They’d always do the employer-employee joke at us: ‘When you grow up, you’ll work for us.’ And we’d punch ’em in the nose.” …

Mr. Bannon’s cultural conservatism — rooted, Mr. Green suggests, in the deeply traditionalist Catholicism in which he was raised — didn’t seem like a perfect fit for a libertine real-estate mogul and reality TV star. Mr. Trump, moreover, is notoriously averse to slovenly attire, and Mr. Bannon often gives the appearance of having just awakened from a night on a park bench.

Any guesses who the former official would be?

Pence and Price are both cristofacists. Pence brought in Eric's sister, Betsy Devious, to be Sec'y of Educ. They're the trifecta of theocratic freaks. This appearance of Prince on the cables has Pence's fingerprints all over this.

Back during the days of the Bush Administration I recall reading stories about how much the regular U.S. military personnel hated the Blackwater guys. They were pissed that these guys were getting paid six figures while they were making much less and hated the arrogant attitude that the Blackwater guys had. There were a lot of stories about Blackwater personnel mistreating locals, bringing in prostitutes and drugs like steroids and other crazy stuff.
