giving Trump a pass on his comments of yesterday.
It seems like Trump has this act down pat. He makes an off the wall statement and then just sits back and listens to the talking heads make excuses for him. Then he chooses the excuse - that one of the talking heads suggested he might be doing - that makes him look good - and goes with that as to why he did something.
I don't think that he has a clue as to how he'll get out of some of the situations that his mouth gets him into - but he lets the MSM create a scenario with which he could live under and then goes with that.
It's presidenting through media analysis.
The MSM keeps making excuses for him. They keep normalizing his actions. And he just coasts along on his merry way patting himself on the back for the great job he's doing.
The Repugs love this too - because they can hide behind the normalization of Trump by the MSM.
What scares me about this situation is that he always tries to make Obama look bad for the decisions he's made during his Presidency. Trump was really critical of Obama's Red Line comment on Syria.
Trump - yesterday - drew a red line. As Trump always does what he thinks Obama should have done - will Trump make good on his 'fire and fury' comments that are essentially a Red Line that Trump used.

Everyone else saw it for the lunacy it was, but "ever the contrarian, beltway insider, I look at things in a way the rabble never could" Chuck had to be the first out there with the illogical view that flies in the face of the obvious.
