****WOW**** Feds did a no-knock search of Paul Manafort's home. *

Last edited Wed Aug 9, 2017, 12:56 PM - Edit history (4)

FBI conducted predawn raid of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s home in July

Federal agents appeared at Manafort’s Virginia home without advance warning in the early hours of July 26, the day after he met voluntarily with the staff for the Senate Intelligence Committee as part of a probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, people with knowledge of the investigation said.

The search warrant was wide-ranging, and FBI agents working with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III departed with various records. The raid came as Manafort had been voluntarily providing documents to congressional committees as part of the investigation. The search warrant indicates investigators may have argued to a federal judge they had reason to believe Manafort could not be trusted to turn over all records in response to a grand jury subpoena.

To use colloquial parlance that's some gangsta shit.

The so-called no-knock warrant, which was first reported by The Washington Post, was served at Manafort's home in Washington's northern Virginia suburbs on July 26, the day after Manafort met with Senate intelligence committee investigators.

about this. There is very good security within Mueller's investigation, it seems. While we aren't getting daily briefings, I think that's a good thing, overall.

Your hard work on this news worthy event caught my attention and reversed an otherwise trepidation of the latest political fiasco.
I welcomed your timely post yesterday! Thanks for the hard work of making it real!

This is supposed to be a board of relatively like minded people:

Core principles
Democratic Underground is an online community for friendly, politically liberal people who understand the importance of working together to elect more Democrats and fewer Republicans to all levels of American government.

If the poster was skeptical he should have asked for clarification rather than make a snarky remark about unrecommending my post.

Any way:

Makes Mueller's job harder. Hope he has found the info elsewhere and this wazms staged to demonstrate that Manafort is also guilty of obstruction
