It's times like this when I am glad I cut the cable.

The 24 hour news channels go into their full blown panic mode. War, War, War. Be scared America, it sells ad time. Stay tuned in, you may here something they didn't already say 100 times..

that you didn't need cable or satellite to watch MSNBC or CNN if you have the internet. I wish that I had not learned that.

Today I've been watching the track and field world championships. Last night was an interesting Unabomber program, part 2 of a series.

So on and so on. Whatever you are interested in. NFL preseason games begin this week including one on TV tonight.

I only get tempted to switch to the MSNBC and CNN types when I check this board.
