Things I only learned today: Sebastian Gorka demands that people call him "Dr. Gorka."

Apparently he received a PhD from Corvinus University, a Hungarian institution, and wants everyone to know about it.

To me, it makes him either sound like a:

1) Bond villain

or

2) Mad scientist

His accent does throw me off a little. If he had an American accent, he'd look like the type of guy who really, really wants you to see his basement gun collection. Of course, given his history with guns and airplanes and such, I suppose that's not far off of a characterization.

phony as well. One person referred to it as a blog post posing as a thesis.

I find most people that insist on being called Dr. have a much higher opinion of themselves than anybody around them. This loser is no different.

If he has one, he bought it or it's just an honorarium, or maybe he's just flat out lying (he is in Trump's inner circle, afterall) and figures no one will ever fact check his claim, and who speaks Hungarian anyway?

Dr. Strangelove.

I've also read that this PhD is of the phony-boloney sort, not worth much more than the paper it was printed on.

It is a weird, weird collection of characters surrounding the Trumpster. Not surprising, I guess, considering the character to whom they've all sworn fidelity. Still, very weird and suspect. I was hoping the rumor of Gorka's exit from the WH was true. Sadly, only wishful thinking to date.
