Congress must act now to take drumpf's (little) hand off the nuclear trigger!

I have no doubt drumpf would escalate the United States and (planet) into a horrific war just to distract from his Russian corruption!

Per this article from CNN today, he could act ((alone)) to start a nuclear catastrophe. That is, assuming the military follows his order.

It's one thing for a few Republicans (like John McCain) to criticize his fire & fury bullshit, but Republicans need to recognize the very health of our planet and potentially millions of lives could be in the balance.

Will they have the courage?

It would require a change to the constitution as far as I can tell. nt Purveyor Aug 2017 #1
Yup. The President is the commander-in-chief, per The Constitution. longship Aug 2017 #2

Even if we had a Democratic majority in both chambers ... they could do nothing.

This is just another:
Overturn the election
Convince Electors to go rouge
Recount all the votes
Repeal the Electoral college
Someone do something ... anything
shouting at clouds post.

For good or bad, we have a Constitution that spells out how to address these situations.

The fact that we don't control enough of the government is our bad and needs to be our top priority.
