Show of hands: This feels like the trump wallpaper is already starting to fall off the wall.

I think there are lots of deals being made right now, and prosecutors are arranging for the witnesses, testimony and sworn/videoed statements. But this is so complicated, and it goes so high in federal government, that it needs to be a controlled fall, and that has to happen slowly.

with some cretin like Bannon thinking he can step right into it.

This will be done by the book, and that means slow motion.

It's even money whether Donnie does a flounce, first.

The raid on Manafort's house suggests he is not cooperating with the investigation or else he would have provided everything freely during regular business hours. The open question remains if Manafort covered his tracks or if there is some computer forensic evidence to be obtained. I can't imagine he'd have paper copies of anything in his home. Then again, who knows with these nitwits.

Regardless, I am not convinced the FBI found what they wanted during the search or if they could quickly piece together and utilize anything they did find. If they did uncover useful evidence, I suspect it merely opened new avenues of investigation or possibly sealed Manafort's fate, thus making it more likely he will seek a deal.

The raid suggests the focus of this portion of the investigation is eiither money laundering or Russian collusion and not so much on the obstruction front (which has been far more visible although perhaps not as cut and dried or as easy to obtain a conviction).
