Kim and Trump, dangerously alike, gamble with the lives and life savings of the world...

It's not exactly a new observation that Kimmy boy and Donny boy are two man children tyrants separated at birth. Both are megalomaniacal narcissistic children, whose development was arrested some time in their childhood. Both are consumed with their own personality cult that they enshroud themselves in. Both would seem to be as thin skinned as a hot house tomato. Both fire anyone they dislike and fear might steal their limelight, in Trump's case fire from their job, in Kim's case with an anti aircraft gun (though I have no doubt Donny wishes he could). Both cocoon themselves in a media echo chamber so that the only news that will reach their ears is fawning, highly praise worthy, and terribly distorted. In Kim's case the North Korean state media and his aids. In Dons case Fox News and other right wing sources he follows and his own aids that filter out all the negative so poor baby won't be triggered.

Of course NK is far more insular, a true brutal dictatorship. I'd never argue that America is anywhere near the prison camp that is NK. Simply that personality wise the two leaders are probably fairly similar, and in a different time and place Trump WOULD be Kim. The danger is that given their personalities and callous disregard for the lives of innocent people, there is a real danger that in their childish saber rattling game of "who will blink first" that one of their hands really will push the red button.

No mater what that may look like, even if it's a small scale conventional attack, the fallout could be devastating. It's far less likely that a lot of American lives are at stake, though I will agree that is a possibility. Far more likely the pawns that are caught in between these blunderbusses are the people of South Korea. 10 MILLION people live just across the border in Seoul South Korea.

And for any racist bigoted Trump supporters who don't give a shit about Korean lives, they may have heard the names Samsung, LG, Hyundai and more. And of course they may not give a shit about them either, but they might care about the fact that their retirement savings are inexorably linked with the fate of such companies in aggregate. A war on the Korean Peninsula would be devastating not just to millions of innocent lives but would likely wipe out trillions of dollars in global assists. Not just Asian companies, we live in a post globalist world. Physically most of your iPhone for example comes from South Korea.

These man children don't know the stakes they are gambling with.

That America has finally elected a tin pot dictator. The only thing holding him back from truely being a dictator are the checks and balances of the system that thankfully for now hold.

...to put some decent reply.

For decades, we are used to NK as a brutal dictatorship. Kim was not expected to be nothing but a dictator whistling in the wind, flexing muscles all for the show and playing as if he had the power to destroy the universe on he own.

Hopefully, until now, reasonnable leaders around the world and acting as leaders, have contained NK.

It's another story when it comes to Trump. Hate or love America, no one can deny that it is a democracy with strong values. It is certainly what is so shocking in Trump being president. He is so far from any of this values, have not the slightest idea of...well, anything. The world expect from a country with an undeniable aura of prestige, to have a representative president.
Instead, the oval office is occupied (squatted more like) by the most improbable man ever. A man who reached a real power that is totally unable and unfit to manage.

No wonder why GOPs are now swetting to death, trying to save what it can and, more or less, preventing a disastrous childish move...
