1. It's an interesting concept

Trend after trend show that the country and it's population are moving left.

I'm willing to bet that if Trump hadn't won the nomination, had it gone to Cruz, Rubio or Christie, they probably would have gotten hammered in the election. I think Rubio has a chance to be powerful in the future for them...he's young and could probably get a hefty portion of the Latino vote.

The truth is, politics run in cycles. One party wins a lot, then people get tired of them, and they get voted out. And then the cycle repeats itself. There will be another Democrat in the White House, probably soon. And then after that, there will be another Republican. And so on.
