Michael Moore just said something on The Last Word. So True.

We are so distracted by the big stuff. Trump Threatening Korea. Not coming out against what happen this weekend. This take up so much news time we aren't see the destruction his cabinet is doing to ALL parts of our country. EPA getting rid of scientists and regulations. Justice department gutting civil rights and making affirmative action a crime-if Sessions gets his way. DeVos dismantling education in this country

So much more that if was reported was a small blurb.

This whole administration is a distract/destroy assault on this country as a whole.

We don't know what or how to handle all of this.

This is a huge dog & pony show. What is Oz doing behind this curtain?
For me it began when they put up 17 candidates. I told my husband, "They have something up their sleeve; that's crazy."

Our country has become one big reality TV show.

Most of those 17 candidates were totally unqualified and had no business being there, including Trump. I wonder if most of them were paid stooges, but I never could suss out a logical plot to explain it.

They've also sabotaged the #ACA which was working just fine and needed a little tweaking but otherwise most loved it and it had millions upon millions more insured and many receiving healthcare for the first time in their lives.

NOW, people can't even find where to sign up. The website is trashed. The subsidies halted. Adverts and PSAs on how and where and when to sign up stopped while the funds intended for that purpose are instead used to buy advertisements against the law.

Part of the job as POTUS - part of the OATH they take when sworn in is to UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION AND THE LAWS OF THE US.

ACA is THE. LAW. and our President and congress are REFUSING to uphold it because they hate the black man who got it passed.

ADD to that gutting the EPA and firing all the scientists and refusing to enforce environmental laws at a time when we need them to be enforced THE MOST, stacking the goddamned courts with murderous extremists such as those Nazis who terrorized UVA this past weekend, Mercenary Sister DeVos gutting public education, a Voter Suppression commission whose SOLE purpose is to toss millions of eligible voters off the rolls nationwide, and on and on and on...

NEXT they will be taking ALL tax deductions away from the middle class and ENDING Social Security and Medicare and giving all the $$$ from all that to the Kochs, Mercers, et al.

MEANWHILE, we're kept distracted with SHitler's asshole antics - one every minute, and his refusal to denounce domestic terrorism, the KKK and Nazis.

I can't believe I am quoting Jeb Bush but he was right a few weeks ago when he said this admin is exhausting.

How in the hell do we get him out faster than Mueller's investigation? Do have to hope he will self implode?

While we are horrified with the things eating up time on the nightly news, the cabinet members and department heads are working diligently every single day to dismantle what we have come to expect from our government. They are trashing regulations designed to protect the air, water, land and us. They have put things like Social Security and Medicare on the agenda to be destroyed. Taxes for the rich will be reduced while things like mortgage interest deduction on taxes that mean something to the average guy will be a dim memory. They have big plans to royally screw us over but will do it in such a quiet, low key way, we'll never even know it has been done. There will be lots and lots of noise to distract us. If you think last week was bad, think again. They are just getting warmed up.

And now you might guess why even though Donald J. tRump will go down in history as the most godawful president ever to occupy the Oval Office, no one in Congress has lifted a finger to oust him. The Republicans haven't gotten done with their wish list. Apparently that was the grand deal with trump. Even though most of them hated and despised his sorry ass, they struck a deal with the devil. Let us pass our pet ideas to remake the USA to OUR liking and we'll put you in the White House.

I am beyond angry and disgusted. There should be enough of us who see through this charade they are pulling on us. And yet, short of a revolution, what can be done? I keep wishing that I'll wake up and the nightmare will end with me drinking a cup of fresh coffee, shaking my head at the crazy ass dream I had. If only, I say. If only.....

Anything they do legislatively can be undone. Oh yes, there will be damage and hardship but maybe that's what we needed to wake up out of our complacency. As many other people have stated, a democratically elected representative form of government is not a spectator sport. We've been sitting on the sidelines expecting other people to take care of our business. Bad move on our part.

On the other hand, my father who was a pretty smart guy, told me this after I had made a bad choice in dealing with a hornets' nest. He said "Billy you've got three choices with those things and only two of the choices have the possibility of a good outcome. Ya either leave them alone and stay away from them or we remove the nest and wipe it out completely. What you don't do is poke it with a stick."

Trump and the cabal are poking us with a stick. Bad move on their part.
