79% of Republicans support Trump

That is a devastating number if you are a Republican.

That means that more than one in every five Republican voter does not support Donald Trump. No incumbent Republican Congressman or Senator can ignore these numbers. It would be a threat to nearly every Republican now holding office, if this large number withheld their votes in the next election.

One might think it would be a time for action from the Republicans? Do they continue to support a President whose numbers continue to decline with each passing day or do they prepare to do something about it?

What should they do? Do they march over to the White House and ask for his resignation? Or do they go the route of the 25th Amendment? Or do they start impeachment proceedings? There are no pleasant choices for the Republican Party.
