And she died protesting bigotry.

She had friends, she had family, and she had a beloved dog - all of whom will miss her. The world will be less because of the loss of her. She will be mourned and revered for her stand against a bunch of jerks, and then life will go on somehow.

But the loss is HER. Who knows what this young woman might have accomplished had her existence on this earth not been cut short by an act of hate. Humanity will suffer for her absence because we need the good ones. We need the people who will stand up.

We all experience a loss when something like this happens. My condolences to her friends, family, and I hope someone can give her beloved dog a home.
