The appropriate amount of action is more radical than voting but not as extreme as violence

Do we need violence? Absolutely not, but the "alt right"/far right and three percenters are at war with us, with the 'other', and with Democracy. And yes, we need to destroy, absolutely destroy, the tropes and cliches which fuel the right wing, discredit their leaders, defund their organizations, and defend all the people they wish to wage their war on.

On the other hand, voting by itself, I'm not saying abandon it, will not be our panacea either, it will not do those things above either.

So what's this all mean? What do these d- things mean for us? How can we do them?

Destroy:
Don't let them get away with using "political correctness" or "cultural Marxism" or whatever else they say. There are holes in these lines.

Discredit:
Just one of the things we can do is focus on the charismatic qualities, what makes the Gorkas and the Bannons better than everyone else in their minds? Let's go after it.

Defund:
Get advertisers to cut support, make them spend more and more money.

Defend:
Don't let them separate transgender from GLBTQ. Refute the notion that we need some Crusade against the Muslim world and fight against the exclusion of the American Muslim. Defend the 'other' in any form it takes, whether that 'other' is sick with pre-existing conditions or does not fit neatly in a gender binary.

Let's remember this as infighting among our ranks will continue, but this is a way to mitigate that. Voting isn't the beginning and end of what we can do, violence is not an option, but not defending ourselves, the people we love, and the ideas we all share is not an option either.

It would be so much easier if people felt they had a functioning federal government in place to protect rights. Bannon's goal of destabilization is working. This is success to him. Revolting.

I apologize for being obnoxious, but I am going to do this every time I see or hear the phrase "alt right", so I am not picking on you and I will be busy.

p.s. the 3% are not at war with us, some rich people are but many are not.
