Watergate II..Here is why..

I recall so clearly, and I am sure others do too, wondering what the next incredible event surrounding the Watergate scandal will be. And I watched and watched and couldn't leave it alone. There was: the break in, denials, Woodward and Bernstein, John Dean, the hearings, Saturday Night Massacre, and on and on. I thought the "tapes" of all conversations would do it.. Nothing could be more incredible...But then there was a 15 minute gap in the tapes..and on and on some more. We know how it ended...

This feels exactly the same. One thing after another after another. When we thought that it couldn't get worse, it gets worse. It feels the same. The election was stolen, Russian Investigation, Lies about the Investigation, Korean Confrontation Grand Jury set up, Nazi Marches with torches, Violence in Charlottesville, now..Trump saying, " They are the same" a second time. The feel of this compared to Watergate is very similar. One incredible thing after another...but much quicker and faster.. We don't know how it will end, but let us hope we are all around to see the end...
...................................We need to hang in there..........somehow...!!!

That was about a steady drip-drip-drip eroding Nixon's presidency. Every new story brought it closer to its end.

Here, it's more like we're witnessing the establishment of a new political system that is, frankly, openly fascist -- and there's nothing we can do about it at all.

then there will be war within the party..That war will erode their party (for a while) and make us stronger.
I do not believe a new party is being established. The old party is still very strong, (and has unlimited money) and will fight back when the time is correct. That is not now. But we will see. Perhaps you are correct, but we will see.

As Trumps number go into the 20s, we will see the republican reaction..We are not there yet. There are so many more chapters in this story, when it is over, then we will know. It is like Watergate in that right now, we do not know how it will end. I think there is much more to come out, just as incredible as what we have seen.
