My random totally mindless wild guess is the Trump is gonna resign and ....

.... that President Pence will pardon him. I think his tweets, Trump's
reaction to Charlottesville, and Trump trying to whip up a war w/N Korea
are all a function of Trump feeling the walls closing in on him.

Could the Camp David meeting this weekend w/Pence and others be setting
the stage for Trump's exit?

is to hire a craven physician to create a medical reason to resign, and negotiate a Pence pardon for any federal crimes. That will not solve any problems arising from states' prosecution of crimes. But at least it keeps him from a death penalty for treason.

Fantasize instead that Trump is impeached and removed from office, Pence takes over, and then announces that he's seen the light and is switching parties, but still retaining his elected office.

to convince him to resign. His ego would require as others on the thread suggest, a medical reason (though he was the healthiest person ever elected, lol). He hates the job, which he never intended to get. He looks so angry in the official portrait.

But Trump is a narcissist, so resignation is very unlikely! Let's look at another option he might try to initiate, Martial Law!

Yes I understand that martial law violates the Posse Comitatus Act, and requires the US Congress to approve military involvement in domestic law enforcement!

Let's look at that Congress, we know that every Republican member of the House would have no problems with having martial law implemented and that the Senate would probably find at least 50 votes, with Pope Pence being the tie breake!

I'm just saying it's a more realistic option, then that Nazi loving, racist, orange faced shit gibbon, resigning!!!

I keep being wrong, but his presidency is obviously untenable. His going into hiding may have helped him recharge, but having to hang around the White House and not get his way on everything is clearly frustrating and exhausting the hell out of him. He's going to resign someday, and he will make sure pardons are in place for his kinfolk and anyone else he thinks that will silence.

Trump doesn't have the character to hold up to the incredible weight of the Presidency. There is no rest, it builds and builds, it takes an amazing power of the will to do the job.

And Trump cares way too much about what people say about him. He is going to blow a head gasket soon if he doesn't resign.
