I'm a Junior, myself. That caused no end of problems for me growing up. I was known by my middle name until I left home, and then had to adjust by being called by my first name. I answer to both now. In my home town, I'm still known by my middle name. Everywhere else, I answer to my first name.

Still, it's an honor to bear my father's name, despite having to add Jr. at the end.
