There is no real goal in our intervention. Except maybe oil pipelines.
The Taliban is a fucked up band of retro assholes, I agree. But history
has taught the lesson of invading Afghanistan. The lives lost, the unbelievable
amount of our tax money lost--- for what? Nothing will be gained by
this. Except more loss of life, more hatred for the US, more tax dollars
spent. There is no real defined goal except win! Win what?
Afghanistan, however fucked up they may be, is much better off without the presence of
our troops, and so are we.
