Nun on CNN asking Paul Ryan how he stands with the Church's teaching

on the preferential option for the poor.

He's giving his mealy-mouthed Republican response about how that means "upwards opportunity," etc. Programs for the poor are discouraging and dis-incentivising work, he says. People booed. He's for "customizing benefits." People cheered.

He says he's for the Catholic Charities model. Yeah, right.

She didn't get to answer him. Grrrr.

just like I loved when the "Nuns on the Bus" followed him around during the 2012 campaign trying to shame him into remembering what he should have learned in Catechism.

Ryan seems to have overcome his.

The way to overcome a Christian upbringing is simple - hypocrisy.

Unity and togetherness my ass. The GOP has done nothing but intentionally divide this country and now he wants to talk about unity and togetherness.
