1. No. He was simply being Trump and tomorrow or soon enough, he'll contradict himself.

Primarily because he was voicing some ideas other people gave him. And in the days to follow, he'll revert to type and say something that reflects who he really is - again.

Trump is whoever he needs to be to sell what he is selling at that moment - but he always is:

1. Racist/White nationalist
2. Narcissist
3. Egomaniacal
4. Fraud/Con
5. Liar

All the rest is window dressing.

Some retired General got him in front of a teleprompter with an audio feed. I am sure it was a technical marvel feeding him words. He will undo soon enough those keeping him in office. Trump is a huge mistake and he will burn those trying to polish the turd.

He's consistent only in those five hateful qualities.

I'm so tired of being tired of him - but I feel compelled to hang in there until he gets his just desserts.

I thought it would happen to W, but he's chump change compared to the venal slob currently squatting in the Oval Office.

his facial expressions, wild hand jestures, inability to articulate & lack of coherence, combined with the fact he knows nothing about anything, is repulsive to me. Having to listen to pundits why to make sense of the nonsense he spews is even more maddening. I recall when Dubya was in office how hard it was to watch him deliver the SOTU knowing he didnt understand half of what he was reading from the prompter. But it was bearable; Dubya was at least not spewing hate and not spiteful. This hideous man 45 is worst vile combination of moral and intellectual decay possible.

litany of self-congratulations and false statements is worse. Simply call it what it is, because there is nothing there worth the effort to make something out of his vast nothingness.

Now that the far right's trusted news source is turning against him, will they turn too, or will their heads just explode?

"Write me something to make me sound smart and presidential," he ordered, and Miller had some underlings throw something together that carefully promised nothing but sounded serious.

....Aaaaaaaaand he's back to watching TV and tweeting.
