Big protests expected as Trump plans Phoenix rally

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-idUSKCN1B211U

WASHINGTON(Reuters) - Large protests could greet President Donald Trump on Tuesday when he travels to Arizona for his first campaign rally since he caused an uproar with his remarks about a white nationalist demonstration in Virginia.

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, a Democrat, asked the Republican president to postpone Tuesday's event scheduled for 7 p.m. MST (0200 GMT on Wednesday) in light of his response to the street battles that broke out earlier this month at a protest against the removal of a Confederate statue in Charlottesville.

Trump was widely criticized for blaming both white nationalists and counter-protesters for the violence at the rally organized by neo-Nazis and white supremacists.

"America is hurting. And it is hurting largely because Trump has doused racial tensions with gasoline," Stanton wrote in the Washington Post. "With his planned visit to Phoenix on Tuesday, I fear the president may be looking to light a match."

base that will be protesting. We outsourced (meaning huge tech companies and other big businesses) outsourced more jobs in every pay range to India than anywhere else.

Ever call for support from DELL or APPLE? Most credit card services for large retailers too.

But BUILD THAT WALL!

was asked by a mayor of a major city to postpone a visit. The "president" chooses to ignore this reasonable request. Is there a precedent for this? Is there a reason for this visit except to feed Trump's ego??

He lives for the mindless adoration of his brain-dead followers at the taxpayers' expense.

He likes the part he's created for himself, not the actual work of running a country.

He loves his rallies. He loves his cheering crowds and the fact that they lap up every platitude and cliche. Ir is as he said - if he violated 68 virgins onstage they would cheer him to the rafters, let alone shoot every dissenting voice in Congress.
When a majority of the country might loathe him as much as do the population of the most fly-blown village in Afghanistan, he can imagine that the USA adores his every word or gesture.

I reckon that he believes - has to believe - that any dissent os organized by Obama or Hillary or Soros or various bad hombres.
