I think that's the best I've done so far lol. Congratulations 1 and 2. And thank you to Mz Pip for running it and to all who participated by entering and/or by voting. Y'all had some mighty tough choices.

My new lens came the other day so I can't wait to see what the next challenge will be! Let's put that sucker to work!

Sometimes it is not easy to pull off the contests, yet we manage and we get votes and appreciation! Congrats to Dyedinthewoolliberal for the dragonfly photograph - a grand capture, and to OriginalGeek with his photo of what surely is a photo taken at Mallory Square. It sizzles.
Thanks to Mz Pip for running the contest smoothly and with experience, and now we shall proceed to the summer contest, and then on to the one in October.

19. We will be running our SUMMER Photo Contest in September.

Perhaps some of the folks who took eclipse photos will submit them to that one.

We announce the opening of submissions for the monthly contests in the Photography group and usually post
a thread in GD and The Lounge to let as many people know as possible. But the best place to ask your question--
or make a suggestion--would be in the Photography group.
