Apropos of nothing, do you think trump survives till Halloween?

I don't think so. My previous guess was that he'd be out by Jan 2018, but now I think he could be out as soon as this weekend or as late as Halloween.

How long do you think he has left in office?

On edit: maybe it's not apropos of nothing, but a vibe I'm getting from all of the bad news getting closer to home and now the McTurtle news breaking tonight.

I would say Trump has a far greater chance of serving two full terms than of not completing one term.

Obviously that's not popular or what I hope for but I always look at things from a big picture perspective, with almost zero attention to short term issues or indications. Presidents rarely leave office and incumbents whose party has been in power only one term rarely lose.

I'll give him until around New Year's, but if he wants to give me an early birthday present and leave sooner...December 13.

When he was inaugurated, people said "He won't make it through April"

And then in April, people said "He won't make it through July"

Chances are, he goes full term.

he'll be there until 2020 and probably beyond, since we're not the ones who count the votes.

in the poll will be: If Congress removes the president, will it improve or reduce the leadership's chances of being reelected? And, Trump and Ryan will follow the path that serves themselves.

I sure would like you to be right.

But I don't believe it.
