So how does this unity and healing thing work exactly?

I am genuinely curious...

Do I have to apologize for going against the infinite wisdom of the electoral college?

Do I need to say sorry when I see all the groups Trump supporters want to make the 'other' but I want to support these groups and endeavor for them not to fear for their futures?

Does the healing start when Trump says we all salute the same flag and I no longer notice the contradiction when I see his supporters waving Confederate (or Nazi) flags?

Does the unity start when I just shrug when I see some polonium-slinging autocrat be referred to as "cool"?

It has nothing to do with love of country or patriotism. Indeed, it is just the opposite.
