How the Nazis were allowed to push back against the police and the cops just stepped back.
But I will not defend the reckless guy with the flame thrower, we have a few crazies that we shouldn't glorify, no matter how pissed off people get.

Another one drew one on a black antifa

Who was protecting an old man counter protesting. This was the young man with the "flame thrower" -- who sprayed aerosol and lit the spray to chase the Nazi with the gun and his friends away from him. The Nazi apologists keep calling that a "handmade flame thrower." The photo of this usually crops the old man out, to show the evil antifa attacking the poor Nazi fuck.

Forget the CPD -- they couldn't handle this. ASk why the VSP and VANG did little, and allowed the counter protesters to be beat up -- you have elderly clergy, Quakers, and soccer moms saying the antifa saved their lives that day.

People cannot be expected to be beaten and have guns aimed at them without fighting back, or protecting someone being victimized.

These people are making me mad with their ignorance. The only reason Corey Long even had a can of spray paint to DEFEND himself and his elderly charge with, was because the Nazis were throwing them at their heads.

Some of these remarks are just like what the RWers are spewing.

Or if he just pointed it at somebody and yelled "Bang, you're dead!"

Flaming aerosol can propellant might make good theater, but it doesn't last long enough to be super dangerous. It's just super stupid.

The one I saw clearly recorded a gun discharging.

And why the disparaging of the Corey Long's actions? Dude did what he had to do at the time, and it turned out to be remarkable and iconic.

He walks past, turns around and goes to take a shot, but doesn't have a bullet in the chamber. He then lowers the gun, chambers a round, yells "hey n**r" and fires.

I punctured the bottom of the can with a nail, let the propellant escape, kept the alcohol and lacquer in the can. Started a fire, and put the can in it. Once the alcohol started to boil, it ignited coming out of the puncture at the bottom of the can and the thing took off like a rocket down the boulevard, careening of the curves, the cars, the palm trees...

What a wild ride that was.

once he realizes there are witnesses who are not assholes like him. You can tell he has no idea what he's doing, he first attempted to fire the gun without a bullet in the chamber, and can't aim for shit.

...but the action is obscured because someone is standing in the way. It appears that the person with the spray can is being confronted by a White Supremacist verbally (white shirt, black backpack, umbrella). That White Supremacist is sprayed with whatever it is, the White Supremacist pushes the guy with the spray can, and he walks away. He's leaving the scene. The White Supremacist with the gun isn't involved yet.

Then the spray is lit on fire and pointed in the direction of the stairs and the guy with the gun approaches the person with the lit spray can with his gun, and then fires as the guy on the stairs uses his flag pole to swat the lit spray can away.

The incident in the tape does not look like self-defense or defense of others with a lit spray can.

The guy with the spray can may have used it to defend himself in another incident, but it doesn't look that way in this incident.

I agree the police should have been in there keeping the peace and protecting the public.

nothing, of course, will happen to this gun toting-shooting POS, guaranteed. Hell if they didn't arrest him then, the cops just stood around, then this POS will walk with a slap on the wrist...how do I know, he's not a POC. Now if this had been a black man, firing back at the nazis, he would be dead. That's equality in ameriKKKa. And white privilege and entitlement on full display. Fuck the charlottsville police...they just stood around when all the white rioting, shooting and violence went on.
