Texas wildlife is also taking a big hit -- donate if you can!

My sister is a wildlife rehaber in Denton and just messaged me about what is going on down there. If you would like to help the various Texas wildlife groups that will be working to save lives of the wild animals, livestock, and domestic animals of the effected areas please consider donating to the TWRC (Texas Wildlife Rehab Coalition), a group of rehabers and rescuers that will be working round the clock for the next few weeks --

An organization knew they would be hatching now, so collected as many eggs as they could and safely preserved them.
Highly endangered types which only lay eggs on the Texas coast where Harvey hit.

the plan was to also go out to the beaches after teh hurricane and collect the earlier hatchlings who were spending their early days just offshore.
That might not work out too well with all this rain and flooding.
