Next target Guam, North Korea says

(CNN)North Korea's launch of a missile over Japan was a prelude to more military operations directed at the American territory of Guam, North Korean state media warned Wednesday.

The country's state-run Korean Central News Agency reported leader Kim Jong Un presided over the dawn launch Tuesday of the "ultra-modern rocket system," the first missile ever fired from the capital Pyongyang.

North Korean officials told CNN in Pyongyang that Kim was "very satisfied with the performance of the missile."

The intermediate-range missile, identified by the North Koreans as the Hwasong-12, flew over Japan, further fueling tensions between North Korea and the United States and its allies, Japan and South Korea.

5. I'm telling you this all has to do with one thing nobody is reporting

The Korean Peninsula is in the midst of one of the worst droughts in a century.

North Koreas human and on powered farm system could just barely feed its population on good years. This year they are facing overwhelming crop failure and will have the worst famine any of us have seen in our lifetime unless they get massive amounts of aid.

The last time they faced a famine, not nearly as bad, the Kim regime barely survived.

He is angling for one of two things- to get The US, China, Japan or anyone else to give them massive food aid in exchange for backing down, or to pick a fight that will kill off a lot of hungry mouths and at the same time give him both a boogeyman to blame the famine on and a cause to unite his brainwashed people behind.

This is all about the drought.
