It's a little bit disingenuous to post things like "Eye of Hurricane Irma heading straight for San Juan".
It's a big enough storm and powerful enough, no need to exaggerate and panic some people.

Most of PR will be OK. Lots of rain and wind, but no direct hit with the eye except maybe the extreme Northeast near Luiquillo.
The most powerful winds are in the eyewall itself. If the eyewall can avoid PR, even just by 10 miles, it will help dramatically. The secondary problem are tornadoes spinning off the heavy rain and storm bands.
