Republicans are scared shitless that Whites are about to become a minority in the great ole US of A.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAY !!!

That's why so many of them support the delusional sociopath.

Too many whites around..(I'm white and I'm tired of it. ) If you get my drift, and I REALLY hope you DO get it, and don't rag on that statement, thank you. because if you DON'T get it I'm not going to explain it....

The stark racial and religious divide between Democrats and Republicans, in one chart
(Chart is at the link.)

73% of Republicans identify as White Christians
29% of Democrats identify as White Christians

From a demographic standpoint, the modern Republican Party looks much like the America of 40 years ago — in 1976, for instance, 81 percent of Americans were white and Christian. Today white Christians account for just 43 percent of the population.

TRUMPSTER-- ".."if we don't win this election, you'll never see another Republican and you'll have a whole different church structure."
He added "I think this will be the last election that the Republicans have a chance of winning because you're going to have people flowing across the border, you're going to have illegal immigrants coming in and they're going to be legalized and they're going to be able to vote, and once that all happens you can forget it."

Previous polling from PRRI showed how these messages resonated with white voters. After the election, fully two-thirds of Trump voters told PRRI the election represented "the last chance to stop America's decline."

And you know what DECLINE means. LOLOLOL !!

I live in a 94% white town, BOOORing. :&gt )

Many, many friends are Chinese, japanese, Korean, Persian, Ghanian, turkish, Russian, Omani, mexican, Brazilian,.umm... Finns(well, the're pretty white but they sure are NOT American white.)

My ex-wife was Chinese. well, she is still Chinese, HA HA but... LOL ..my dear ex.. we're still very good friends.. She also would joke about how white my town is...

When we would go to China to visit her family, I would always at least once joke about, "Hey, Jing, everybody seems to be Chinese.."

After I returned from a Defend DACA rally with over 1,000 people in San Diego last night I looked at the videos posted on You Tube and EVERY ONE of the comments was hateful, inaccurate, foul mouthed BS about immigrants. I couldn't believe what Americans REALLY think and believe. I had to stop reading since I was so disheartened and shocked.

Do people EVER read about anything that is factual and historical? Who are these idiots? I am sooooo glad to live in a blue state and that I have chosen not to communicate with Repub friends since Nov. I prefer to associate with rational, fair, kind people and not hateful, prejudiced, uninformed morons.

Correlation is not causation. They do not think in terms of Whites because that isn't their problem. They think liberal and conservative.

They are working on making sure the majority of voters are conservative. That includes controlling who votes, and much, much more, esp. propaganda to control what people think.

Today I ran across a woman in the office of a small college I frequent who was "chatting' to ME about how 'others' want to have 'their' language be the official language in America. 'Muslims and Hispanics' want their language to be as official as "American."
And it didn't end there... The old, "If they want to live here THEY must accept OUR way of life."

OOppsie...

She is new in the office. I may have to see this ignorant moron several times a week. And she has a key I need each time.. LOL.

Maybe one day I will tell her "what is what," as Thai Buddhist monk once put it.

But I have never experienced a long period where I was not in the majority.. except several long stays in China and Japan...

My high school 'gang' consisted of -
-Jewish guy
-redheaded irish catholic
-dark haired italian catholic
-black guy,
American Indian
-a guy named bill shakespeare.
and WASP me so in a sense we were ALL minorities in out little group.

Only years later did I realized that I learned something from that.

If they want a look at America as it is becoming, they'd get a good glimpse here. It's a wonderful neighborhood, with kids playing outdoors, riding bicycles and heading for a nearby fishing hole or playground. It's home to all sorts of families, who mingle with older people whose families have moved on after becoming adults.

Kids from elementary to high school can walk to their neighborhood schools, or take a bus to any school in the city. Neighbors come out to pet your dog if you're out for a walk. Kids of all races come to the door on Halloween and to sell stuff for school fundraisers. We had over 150 Halloween visitors last year.

But, it's not a white neighborhood. It's a rainbow neighborhood. It's an American neighborhood.

Going to Saints games is, indeed, fun. Tickets are affordable, the ball park is just the right size, and the concessions are perfect for this area. There's plenty of parking, a light rail transit line that stops right near the ball park, and even a leash-free dog park adjacent. The Saint Paul Saints are Saint Paul, in a nutshell.

Minneapolis is a major league pro sports city. St. Paul is a friendly place with friendly sports teams and facilities. It has almost as large a population as its twin city, but a completely different feeling about it.

The Saints are part of that and St. Paul is a city that supports an independent league team with gusto. If you want to go to a Saints game, buy your tickets well in advance. Most games are sold out. But, if you don't have tickets, show up anyhow. There's lots of standing room and a nice grassy hill you can sit on for cheap. The Saints don't ever turn away fans. In fact, if you show up early for a game without tickets, someone might just give you a ticket they can't use, right at the ballpark. My wife and I did that once. We had four tickets, but the people who were going with us couldn't make it at the last minute. So, when we went to the game, we went up to the ticket line and found a man and his son who didn't have tickets yet and gave them those two. They sat next to us the whole game.

I like St. Paul. For a sizable city, it's a friendly place, with many neighborhoods just like mine. I live in a small town environment, right in the middle of a major city. Not bad!

Their history and story is just a minor miracle....

I could see living there would be a joy....

I'm a big minor league fan and live near Rochester, NY.

nearby me all within 40 minutes to 2 hours are- Rochester Red Wings (40 minutes), Syracuse Chief (1.5 hrs) and Buffalo Bisons ( 1.5 hrs), all Triple-A

Batavia Muckdogs (1 hr) (YAY MUCKDOGS, MY team ), Auburn Doubledays (1 hr)- Short-season A

Binghamton Rumble Ponies Double-A (DUH used to be METS) 2 hours-- rarely go there..

I go to between 10-20 Muckdogs games each year, Since they moved from the Cardinals to the Marlins they suck, :&gt )) But hey it's real baseball,, GREEN grass, RED clay and WHITE lines... and terrible hot dogs. :&gt )

But these reps are deadly smart. They do many different things towards their goal: to remain in power.

They will gerrymander, check. They will purge voter rolls, check. They will try to own the media, check. They will try to control social media, check. They will kick out as many people as possible out of the country. I'm sure I'm missing a thing or two, but when you add everything together, it adds up and it's very effective.

Once whites are in the the minority, would affirmation action still be in place for current minorities? Would it be switched over to whites? Just being in the minority wouldn't necessarily make whites deserve affirmative action, because it is there for those that are discriminated against. Whites would have to both become a minority and start getting discriminated against.

35. Loss of privilege does not mean loss of rights.
Thu Sep 7, 2017, 01:36 PM
Sep 2017

Loss of privilege just means you have to fairly compete and cooperate with others who don't look like you, and means that without the merit of actual talent or experience, you can't just order people around and sit back taking credit while they do most of the work for very little compensation.

The biggest myth in this country was hammered in by small groups of hereditary wealthy people - mostly Northern European descent - so they could run mini-fiefdoms with impunity and undercut most other hard working or talented people who might challenge their power bases or cost them money. The myth that a plantation economy - private monopolists, investors, and reinters with little regulation other than a "gentleman's handshake" - is somehow "good for everyone". From the mid-1700's to early 1900's, immigrants in rural areas of the South and Midwest were always forced to compete with marginalized slave or sharecropping labor because the old plantation economies of "The Big House and the Fields" didn't want to pay fair wages for work. And this attitude worked it's way into the factories and ranches. Why "do the right thing" and pay fair wages when you can get groups of people desperate who don't realize much more to life than just survival to work for you, especially when it cuts into one's profit?

The shrinking "White Working Class" is constantly bombarded with political religiosity and racial stereotypes is to keep the majority of this country from realizing that disenfranchisement and lack of opportunities is really from class differences and class privilege, not from some "moral hazard" or personal responsibility of any individual or "race".

Most people who were either born into or bought their way into privilege know they can't justify sitting on their laurels and not participating in society as a whole. They just want their comfort and stuff in their tiny, protected private worlds, and, frankly, they don't care about anyone else. So, they need something to keep the majority of the population from interfering with their comfort, and other than figuring out how to kill the "excess" population that can't work off, they have to figure out a way of ensuring their workforce won't get uppity and remain happy with what little they are willing to part with.
