..well, at least not significantly. But with that being said....

It has everything to do with how intense these hurricanes become. And that's the argument that needs to be hammered in my opinion. Deniers will likely say "see, average number of hurricanes is the same!". But how many of those reached CAT 5? How many hit the coast at CAT 4? Opposed to the usual CAT 1 and 2?
