(32,791 posts)I'm so tired of the pix of Hillary in which she doesn't look so great. I know she's not vain, but let's face it most older women don't look perfect on film. It takes a little work/skill to get a nice photo and I can say this because I am an older woman. So are many of my family and friends.
Hillary can look great when the photographer makes an effort, but so few actually do.

(16,993 posts)This is great to see. She looks proud and confident. That's what Democrats need now, to be proud and confident. Not beat down and browbeaten by third party lies and strategies to undermine our party. Take the power back. I love it that Clinton looks almost defiant here.

(90,848 posts)They are both children of immigrants. She appears to be intelligent. Other than that, I have not bothered to learn that much about her. Wikipedia and Google and her Bio page would tell you more.
But as for reasons to put her in the same league with other accomplished American women? She is.

If that defines "intelligent" that definition escapes me.
Intelligence without ethics is worse than useless.
I couldn't care less about her bio. The company she keeps says everything I need to know about her.

Perhaps having Ms. Clinton on the cover is an attempt at expiation. I don't care.
I'm not going to write them. I clearly have very little respect for them.
Ms. Haley is unremarkable in any case, and her "first" is essentially worthless, particularly since it involves arbitrary factors in her genome, and that it isn't "white Anglo-Saxon" is mildly remarkable, but nevertheless she's a racist who was elected governor of the most racist state in the Union.

It also, sadly, makes me literally sick that we could have had Secretary Clinton as president and running this country properly with intelligence and compassion as the great nation we once were.

(61,700 posts)Generally, I don't care for that phrase, because govt and business have different objectives.
But HRC would have run the WH like a finely tuned piano, a well-oiled machine. People wouldn't constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop, or for the ratings to come out on a reality tv show.

Please note. This has nothing to do with Hillary. Somebody just got carried away in the art department.

Yeah, if Hillary were where she deserves to be, in the Oval Office, we'd be in so much better shape as a country.
Much more respected internationally, 800,000 fine young people not worried sick about their status, no fear of starting WWIII on the Korean Peninsula, and we'd be dealing with Russian influences on our government. And that's just off the top of my head.

(19,204 posts)Really? She drives a car around in circles. Hardly a world changer, in my opinion. She wasn't even the first woman driver in NASCAR. Others paved the way for her, actually. She's popular because NASCAR dads think she's purty'.
Hey, it is what it is. More power to her (literally and figuratively).

(19,204 posts)She was far more important for the advancement of women than some of the others. But I guess there's always someone who maybe shouldn't be there, and some that should be, but aren't. Just about any "list" is flawed like that.
