Uh Oh,Trump Jr. tells senators 'no collusion' with Russians

Donald Trump Jr. insisted that neither he nor anyone else he knows colluded with any foreign government during the presidential campaign.

I think uday is going to get caught lying to investigators.

If caught lying, pardoned. Simple as that. JDC Sep 2017 #2

Pardon power only seems unlimited because it has never before been abused and, notably, used to flout the constitution the way Rump already has.

Also, he can only pardon federal offenses, the reason, of course, the State of New York is now double teaming with Mueller's JD investigation. At this point, I'm not assuming that an arrogant idiot like Jr. hasn't broken any number of laws in any number of states.

Hiwever, who is going to stop him would be my 1st question.

Further, who would stop him from doing it prior to <or> on his way out the door. Relative to Federal of course. This article is regarding potential federal implications as I read it.

against massive attempts from inside and out to gut and even destroy our federal government gives me reason to be hopeful. It's always been far less vulnerable to extensive corruption than state governments, and we're seeing that now.

It's even forced gutless moderate conservatives, who've been hiding from purges very well among the extremists who've taken over, to come out and stand up. They've already failed their duty many, many times over the years, but still, there they are now.

He's probably safe since there is no legal definition of collusion. Since they probably can't get him on conspiracy, or accepting contributions, he's probably safe.

Though there is a legal definition of collusion (see: divorces, anti-trust cases, etc), there is no federal law that criminalizes collusion in and of itself, and any indictments would be predicated on other criminal violations.

They can't admit to collusion, because it would bring everything crashing down. Their only option is to deny, deny, deny and keep digging the hole they're in deeper, and just hope that it doesn't all come crashing down.

if he said it, it must be true.

That's it - wrap it all up - time to go home.

They were honest - won fair & square - had the biggest victory ever, even with the help of millions of illegals voting against Daddy.

How could we have suspected anything else?

(I hope they can find great comfort in their soon-to-be wearing prison attire - I'm sure they'll look marvelous!)
