I just don't think it helps to bash her primary opponents.
Nobody here is "bashing her primary opponents".

What many of us ARE doing is responding when our Democratic Party and Democratic Party leaders and Democratic candidates are smeared and denigrated. Many of us reject the notion that we must remain silent and endure the abuse and insults and lies.

All I'm saying is that it's wrong to falsely accuse people of "bashing her primary opponents" just so that malcontents will have a clear path to smear Democrats with impunity, and without the fear of any pushback or being challenged.

Actually, it was YOUR way of being dismissive... suggesting that the book had little value or importance BECAUSE it was the result of some psychiatrist's recommendations or help she was receiving. You implied she's suffering from a mental illness or a psychological breakdown.

Yeah... your meaning was very clear. Stop it.

so they will appeal to the lowest common denominator do we really expect anything different? talk about wasted energy focusing on the past. don't get me wrong - the book is inbounds but who cares what the news article on AOL.COM says. go comment on it there - whereas I can see this article only serving to spread division here.

edit: my first reply was speaking too soon - i only saw the aol.com link. the aol site really only links to a political article at http://www.politico.com/story/2017/09/07/hillary-clinton-book-tour-democrats-242419 where claims are made like "Political reporters gripe privately (and on Twitter) about yet another return to the campaign that will never end. Campaign operatives don't want the distraction, just as they head into another election season. And members of Congress from both parties want the focus on an agenda that’s getting more complicated by the week. "

election loss, picking at scabs and setting one group against the other when many just want to move forward and unify for the future and Bernie's book is a blueprint to do exactly that. It seriously shouldn't be fucking rocket science as to why the headlines are such as they are and one book tour gets treated differently than the other.

Except for the subject of "book tour" the situations are completely different.

Bernie wasn't promoting a memoir, nor explaining his loss to Clinton. It was a different type of book -- one looking forward -- plus he's still a sitting senator.

Clinton IS promoting a memoir and discussing and exploiting an incredibly painful situation (for all of us). She is absolutely the last human being qualified to lead us in national "therapy" about Trump's win, because she's the one that lost to him.

If she wants to write a book, and do a book tour (like other authors do), that's her prerogative. After all, she was the 1st woman Presidential candidate in the most outrageous election I've ever seen. IMO, it's going to be a great read and I can't wait!
