Sloane Stephens wins slaughtered Madison Keys 6-3; 6-0.

Was pulling for Madison, but happy either way because it was a great day for American tennis.
I have family and friends in St Petersburg and north of West Palm. Probably wont sleep for the next few days until I know they are all ok.

(51,308 posts)6. Yeah same here. Was listening to NPR at the same time. They're doing great Keys coverage.
This sure seems to be Stephens' year, though I was so torn because I really love Keyes. Thrilled for Stephens though. She's come back from injury tougher than ever.
I thought it would be a closer match.
Anyway, back to the storm.
