The longer this enormous inequality is maintained the harsher will be the resolution.
Further, the 1950s prosperity and elevation of the middle class that the Trumpanzees so much harken back to was obliterated by the tRumps and the Reagans and the Gingriches. Ryan and McCONnell think those guys didn't do enough.
The Trumpanzees drag their knuckles into rallies and cheer their own demise.

(45,514 posts)while American workers are lazy, worthless, and so very ungrateful for the cheap Chinese made products the rich have so efficiently brought to us from overseas. Oh look over there, that immigrant is stealing a crumb of your cookie!
The job creator argument fails hardest with the people involved in speculative high speed trading and hedge funds and don't actually build anything or provide much of a service to any normal people. Taxing their investment gains at the same rate as income would be the only way to get them to contribute to society.
