It's not like TurnItIn wasn't around in 2013. Just run the paper through and, voila, plagiarism! Now, in my community college, he would have received a zero on the essay for the first offense, been kicked out of the class for the second offense, and been kicked out of the college for the third offense. Evidently, whatever "college" wanna be Yosemite Sam went to is not nearly as strict.
