I wish you were our president: Colbert reveals he was going to have naked men onstage

Stephen Colbert on Tuesday hosted former Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, handing her a “touching” packet of jokes “The Late Show” host planned to tell on election night–if she’d won.

Discussing his Showtime special, Colbert noted he watched the results in realtime before a live audience.

“I was not happy about this,” Colbert said of finding out Donald Trump would be president. “The audience that night was, honest to God, on the edge of tears. It was like we were all at a funeral in this room. And I was drinking a fair amount of bourbon.”

and you verified the drinking part. I was pretty sure I hadn't imagined that but since I was drinking too I wasn't 100% sure!
She has such a sincere laugh...I never hear the fake prez laugh like that! People DO sincerely laugh AT him however.

But this was the only segment available - so far. I tend to watch the late night comedians, these days, since the news is so damn depressing. And I agree she's been giving such great interviews, too many Americans sure dropped the ball on this one.

I remember waking up the day after the election thinking "God, I had the worst dream." Then I saw the news alert on my phone. "Hillary Clinton Delivers Concession Speech in New York City." I went back to bed. In fact, I kind of want to just stay in bed until election day 2018 and 2020. I'll emerge to vote, but I don't want to awake for this.

I had dental surgery on election day. I fell asleep on the couch watching the returns and woke up around 3am to see Trump standing there with his entire extended family! It was so damn unbelievable that I was sure I must be having a bad dream - and I still hope so many times that I'm going to finally wake up from it...
