Worse for him and for his family. Hopefully they will not try to kid themselves and the country, and do what is best, for both. Unfortunately, my fear is that they will do what they believe is most financially beneficial to them, and the country be damned.

Seriously. Has anyone noticed thst he has done that A LOT lately. He will repeat a sentence, almost word for word, over and over. He did the same thing when he was patting his own back about the tremendous, amazing job he was doing for Puerto Rico. He kept injecting that sentence nearly every other breath. I almost wondered if the news was just repeating his comment on a loop, but it was him saying it over and over. Is he fricken nuts? Or just trying to drive us nuts?

It may not happen until they see an electoral wipeout in their future, or maybe after he costs them seats. Either way, it's coming, and I'm just going to sit back and watch.

I might be able to find a molecule of sympathy for those who were lured into voting for him because many of them will be hurt by him. But then I remember the reason they were lured by him was their racism, zenophobia, homophobia and assorted other prejudices, so I can sit back and watch the karma bite them on the ass. We tried to warn ya, but you said it was fake news. So now the fake news is gonna mess up your life.

but other Repugs may be believing their own BS enough to be deluded about consequences.

In either case, I am with you, sitting back and waiting. Things are ramping up rather quickly, thank god.

My guess is that when Trump said "McCain is out" , he was actually meaning out of the Senate, not that he was unwinnable. He was speaking of having the votes in January, February. In truth, we do not know how many other no there could have been.
