Paul Ryan urged White House reconsider shortly before Tom Price ousted

House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) tried to convince the Trump administration to reconsider relieving former Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price of his job last week, according to a new report.

Politico reported on Tuesday that the House leader touted Price's experience in dealing with Congress and his work in the White House on a call with chief of staff John Kelly in a last-ditch effort to save Price's place in the administration. Ryan was immediately rebuffed by Kelly, the report says, and the call ended shortly afterward.

As if we need any more proof of Paul Ryan's complete lack of ethics.
