By what I'm reading on DU, it seems he is as "brilliant" as usual.

Or I had once upon a time...
Trump made me almost speechless...
A child with language problems would do better than him...

(82,849 posts)Sidney Blumenthal was on the staff for President Clinton in the 1990s. It was the second or third State of the Union address, and Clinton had been preparing for nearly the entire month of January. When he went up to the podium, he handed the standard copies to the President pro tem and the Speaker, turned around and began to deliver his speech.
Unfortunately, the teleprompter had been loaded with the previous year's speech. Oops. Blumenthal described a chaotic scene as they frantically unloaded the wrong speech and loaded the right one. Seemed to take forever, but up on the podium, President Clinton was unflappable. He had prepared so well for the speech, he didn't need the teleprompter, and was delivering his address flawlessly. They finally got the right speech loaded, and had to fast forward several minutes to catch up with the president, who continued to speak, and nobody in the chamber had the first clue that anything had gone wrong.
Now, imagine that happening to Lord Littlehands.
