And, yea, his whole shtick, in Puerto Rico, came across as flat out disrespectful to the people. He stayed in a sanitized area, and surrounded himself with sycophants. I truly was shocked that Mayor Cruz was even invited. Unless she was invited with the sole intent of them shunning her.

There was no contact with anyone from the 'civilian' class that would have made him feel icky. No words of comfort - he treated the people of Puerto Rico like they were children.

Most certainly there didn't seem to be any big crowds of people there to greet him. Compared to what we've seen with pretty much every other President, during a disaster, this was nothing more than a sound byte and photo op.
