If Trump is trying to convince us he is an agent of a foreign power, this puts me about 99% there.

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/10/05/politics/trump-iran-deal-deadline-plan/index.html

Trump wants to nullify the Iran Nuclear Arms Accord. Such an action is SO against our national interests, I can only surmise someone who is interested in our deterioration as a world power has managed to somehow put this in his head. I'm not naming names, but I think the initials ВВП should loom high on the list of those who have the most to gain.

That because of actions of Americans last year, from all political camps, this happened.

I apologize to you for the comment, but I am so very angry, knowing full well real bad shit is almost certain now.

I didn't take it as personal as I might have sounded. I do get a bit miffed that everybody in the media points out how close SF and LA are, but if you look at a globe, Seattle/Tacoma is closer, and almost as "valuable" of a target as those two. Lot of shipping goes through here commercially, and there are numerous military/naval installations of strategic value.

Guess I'll have to bone up on my duck and cover drills.

What are those initials? Who are you hinting at?

Regardless of his motivation this is monumentally stupid. Why would North Korea ever consider a negotiation when we are about to unilaterally pull out of the deal with Iran?

Republicans truly believe the iran deal is bad. Its not that he's working for anyone else, he truly believes its a bad deal that woll lead to them getting a nuke. Why they think this I dont know other than we gave them money.

Republicans "believe," to the extent that they believe anything, as opposed to saying it for effect, that anything Obama did, passed or negotiated is by definition bad. They would say that curing cancer was insidious and evil if Obama had a hand in it.

I do NOT believe that whether or not something was beneficial to our country figures into their public position on any issue. Trump can barely find Iran on a map. In all likelihood, he couldn't recite any of the Kerry-Iran negotiations or details of the deal except for a few minor details, provided to him by others, that he can dis in a 15 second TV spot or a speech. Therefore, ascribing "beliefs" on the subject as a motive for Trump's action is, in my opinion, a stretch at best.
